Along with the education Social Awareness and Community involvement has proved its significant importance in fruitful implementation of any programs in community.
HHH has been organizing various social awareness programs to educate and aware people in the village about general issues like health specially on reproductive health issues such as sex diseases, birth control and sanitation, environmental management, social and moral responsibility in active participation local participation of local teachers, volunteers and university volunteers and social workers.
Similarly, HHH is also organizing various income generating workshop, vocational and technical training camps, and seminars to enhance and develop skills with objective to able community peoples to generate income using local resources.
Participation of local community in the development process is essential in the undeveloped rural areas in Nepal. HHH Nepal highly emphasis in community involvement programs such as cooperative society. HHH aims to develop and aware people about the community programs such as Cooperative Savings and Loan which is initiation to host and boost the economic and social activities in community.
Under HHH Social Development Program Saturday school has been designed to educate young children on social and moral conduct as well as civic education for example how to be a good and lovely kid to their parents and to others? How to be good students?
How to be a good friend? In what way? They can help others? In what way they can help themselves?
The hope is for these children to also learn early on in their young life what they need to do to become a good likeable person a responsible person; a family person a community person respectable person etc. |
